Authentic. Organised. Inspired.

We're not strangers. We're just friends who haven't met yet.

Authorised Marriage Celebrant Gold Coast
@breepaigephotography

Firstly, a flippin' huge congratulations on your engagement! You and I are about to embark on a very special journey together - and i can't wait!

Anyway, let me introduce myself - because we are going to be great friends! My name is Kristy and I am an Authorised Civil Celebrant. I grew up in Northern NSW, surrounded by truly loved up couples (thanks Nan and Pop, and Mum and Dad, who boast almost 85 years of marriage between them) and I've spent most days since romanticising life and the little moments that make it worth living. When I'm not officiating weddings, you'll find me teaching teenagers in English (I know a thing or two about words) and Creative Arts (I'm a natural performer), playing with my Jack Russell Terrier (Tilly), spending time with family and friends, walking, brunching, and exploring with my fiancé, and, last but not least, dancing.

My favourite thing about being a celebrant is the wonderful couples I get to meet. We aren’t strangers, we’re just friends who haven’t met yet. I will listen to your story and what makes your relationship special, and I will share this with your loved ones in ways you can’t imagine. I have a background in Education and Leadership – so obviously I know how to wrangle the crying children, the barking dogs, the technical hiccups (that really rarely actually happen) and ensure your guests are comfortable and are focussing on YOU. I am warm, I am authentic, and honestly, every little thing matters to me. And my passion is in creating a ceremony that is truly inspired. As a dance teacher, I am also able to cater to even those with two-left feet, teaching first dance lessons ensuring we create memories that will last a lifetime.

It's the little things that count

Creating unforgettable moments..

Tom, Gold Coast

"I asked Kristy to choreograph a surprise dance for my wife and she did not disappoint. She created something that was fun and energetic but not too hard for someone with 2 left feet. She helped me create a memorable moment for my wife, friends, and family on my wedding day."

Jake & Sara, Gold Coast

"Thank you! You were the perfect choice. Forever grateful for you xx"

Helen & Mernis, Gold Coast

"Kristy no words can express how grateful we are to have had you as our celebrant, contact, dance teacher and support throughout this whole process! Feels like we have been friends for a long time. Everyone said only beautiful things about you and you are absolutely beautiful darling. I am so glad you were the person to marry us on the weekend. It was perfect!"

Kat, Brisbane

"Kristy mentored me through my first ceremony for a friend as a celebrant. Being a new celebrant, the technicalities, script writing and the public speaking can be a little daunting. Throughout, Kristy was cool, calm and collected while maintaining professionalism. Kristy so supportive prior to the ceremony and on the day itself. As I prepared for my friends wedding she gave me guidance on script writing and ensured I had all the finer details mapped out clearly. Ultimately it meant that I really enjoyed the experience officiating my friend’s wedding, they had a fantastic and meaningful ceremony and I felt nourished and inspired to continue in this work. Thanks Kristy!!"

Emma & Adam, NSW

"Thank you for officiating our beautiful day, we appreciate everything you did for us. It was so perfect. You are amazing at what you do and we were so grateful to have you as our celebrant. Highly recommend you!"
Traditional Owners

I'd like to acknowledge the original inhabitants of this area, the Kombumerri people, and recognise their connection to the land, waters and resources in the area now known as the Gold Coast. I acknowledge that the ceremonies and performances I perform are merely an extension of the many thousands of years of traditional dance, art and performances of First Nation Australians. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, for it is they that hold the hopes and dreams for our future.
